ENCOR Studio X MAPPING Festival

29.04 - 12.06.26

This exhibition is a collaboration between ENCOR STudio, Mapping Festival, and Base Window.
The Mapping Festival in Geneva is an internationally recognized event dedicated to digital and audiovisual arts. Held annually, it brings together artists, designers, and technologists to explore the intersection of image, sound, and emerging technologies such as video mapping, immersive installations, and live visual performances. Through exhibitions, performances, workshops, and talks, the festival offers an interactive and immersive experience, positioning itself as a key platform for contemporary digital creation and innovation in Europe.

ENCOR Studio explores the interaction between presence and absence, where perception replaces physical objects, leaving behind only a trace. Their works reflect themes of loss and the unspeakable, showing how memories resurface unexpectedly and reveal what we once overlooked. These fleeting moments, however, are powerful enough to awaken buried memories. Their creations reveal and conceal at the same time. Everything blurs, then sharpens again. This is how memory works: first a fog, then an image as clear as a photograph. A moment that disappears as quickly as it appeared. And yet, this memory does not remain only in the mind—it embeds itself in the body. A shiver, a warmth, a question.

Stay tuned.
